Skills & Tools: Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom facilitation skills with comfort using digital tools, LMS platforms, video conferencing, and AI-powered educational tools. Demonstrated ability to foster inclusive learning environments and effectively teach diverse student populations.
Qualifications: Master's degree in subject area and at least 2 years of college/university-level teaching experience required. Proactive, reliable commitment to high-quality online education with passion for equity and access in higher education.
Location: Remote (US-based)
Compensation: $5,000 – $8,000 per 11-week quarter (varies by course credit hours: $8,000 for 4-credit courses, $5,000 for 1-2 credit courses)

Academic Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Teach 11-week live, online courses using engaging, student-centered instructional strategies.

  • Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that promotes active learning and student participation.

  • Provide timely, constructive feedback and respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.

  • Host weekly office hours to deepen student understanding and build community.

  • Work with Teaching Assistants to co-manage the course, including mentoring the TA on effective grading and student engagement practices.

  • Evaluate student progress, maintain grade records, and submit mid quarter and end of quarter evaluations.

  • Collaborate with peers and Campus staff to share best practices and continuously improve instruction.

  • Contribute to co-curricular programming (e.g., speaker series, networking events) to enrich the student experience.

  • Stay current on industry and pedagogical trends relevant to your subject area and online teaching, including the effective use of AI tools embedded in our curriculum.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in your subject area.

  • At least 2 years of teaching experience at the college/university level.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom facilitation skills.

  • Comfort with digital tools and platforms, including LMS and video conferencing.

    • Digital fluency and ability to effectively incorporate AI-powered educational tools into instruction.

  • Proactive, reliable, and committed to high-quality online education.

  • Passion for equity, access, and supporting students from diverse backgrounds.

  • Available to commit 8-10 hours per week per course, with some flexibility for training.

Compensation

  • $8,000 per 4-credit course/11 week quarter

  • $5,000 per 1-2 credit course/11 week quarter
