Summary

Business Development Representative for StaffGarden by Ascend Learning focused on generating qualified sales leads and creating new business opportunities in Healthcare SaaS. The role bridges marketing and sales to identify, qualify, and convert prospects into SQL opportunities for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities: Drive lead generation through outbound calls and emails, manage inbound inquiries, and qualify prospects to create sales-qualified leads. Schedule discovery meetings, maintain CRM records, collaborate with Marketing and sales teams, and support strategy execution through industry research and sales play development.
Skills & Tools: Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage clients and articulate product value. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, coachable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred with 1+ years of prior sales-related work experience. Passion for sales career development and demonstrated commitment to personal and professional growth.

Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $45,000 – $60,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Business Development Representative for StaffGarden by Ascend Learning, you’ll focus on creating qualified sales leads to cultivate new business opportunities in Healthcare SaaS. This position will including qualifying leads from prospects through self-sourced prospects, manage an assigned roster, and Marketing qualified leads.

WHERE YOU’LL WORK

This position will work remote in the United States.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Drive lead generation and client conversion by executing outbound calls and emails, handle inbound inquiries, and identify high-potential prospects through effective prospecting and qualification
  • Convert through qualification and needs validation to create SQLs for sales execution
  • Schedule and coordinate discovery meetings with aligned Sales team member(s) as applicable
  • Foster strong client relationships and create a positive brand image by collaborating with Marketing on campaigns, maintain accurate CRM records, and manage leads throughout the process
  • Support sales team success by participating in strategy meetings, staying informed on industry trends, understanding prospect challenges, and preparing sales plays and messaging for Call Calendar
  • Streamline top of the sales funnel to facilitate the success of Account Managers and Solutions Executives

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1+ years of prior sales related work experience
