The Program Manager is responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the software development workload from the planning stages to delivery. This role will collaborate with the engineering, product management, and senior management teams to manage completion of complex software development projects.
Responsibilities:
- Hold the role of Scrum Master for one or more Scrum Teams
- Manage the planning and estimation of Engineering projects
- Maintain team data in project management software (JIRA) to support estimates and execution
Requirements:
- BS or equivalent plus 3 years experience
- MS/Ph.D. or equivalent plus no experience
- Past experience in Software Development as a Software Engineer/QA Engineer/SET/SRE - 2-3 years
- Demonstrable expertise of Agile methodology
- Understanding of agile metrics (tasks, backlog tracking, kanban, user stories, etc.) to analyze and improve workflow pipelining
- Ability to understand and translate technical information in a way that is consumable to audiences of all levels (technical and non-technical)
- Thrives in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Passionate commitment to delivering products on time
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, and very organized
