Your Role

We’re looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to lead our global onboarding program. You’ll be the face of Hudl for every new hire, ensuring they feel energized, inspired and ready to thrive from day one.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Own the onboarding journey. You’ll manage the end-to-end experience for new Hudlies, from the initial handoff from Talent Acquisition to their transition into their second week.
  • Be a culture champion. You’ll infuse our core values into every orientation session, creating a warm and inclusive environment where people of all backgrounds feel they belong.
  • Collaborate across the business. You’ll partner with IT, Workplace Ops, and People Ops to make sure every detail—from computer setup to paperwork—is seamless and intuitive.
  • Design and facilitate. You’ll maintain and create fresh orientation content on Slack and our learning platforms, while leading multiple live sessions that help new hires understand our "why."
  • Analyze and improve. You’ll monitor program performance and gather feedback to ensure we’re constantly providing a world-class experience.

Location

For this role, we're only considering candidates who currently live within a commuting distance of our Headquarters in Lincoln, NE. We expect the candidate hired in this role to work in the office at least three days/week.

Must-Haves

  • Experience. A track record of coordinating and delivering effective training programs and/or onboarding programs in a corporate setting.
  • A master organizer. You have a proven track record of managing complex schedules and high-stakes projects with meticulous attention to detail.
  • An engaging communicator. You’re comfortable presenting to groups and can write clear, inclusive content that resonates with a global audience.
  • High emotional IQ. You excel at building genuine relationships and can connect with people from all walks of life.
  • A lifelong learner. You’re passionate about teaching others and are always looking for ways to grow your own skills and expertise.
  • Innovator. You thrive in fast-moving environments and stay calm under pressure when ad-hoc challenges arise, coming up with novel solutions to streamline work.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Tech-savvy. You’ve used tools like Asana, Zoom, Articulate Rise, LMS to deliver learning, AI or Automated Workflows to augment tasks.
  • SaaS experience. You’ve worked in a fast-growing software or global company and understand the unique pace of the industry.
  • Program design background. You’ve helped build onboarding or training initiatives from the ground up.

Our Role

  • Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
  • Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
  • Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
  • Support your mental and physical health. We care about our employees’ wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Program, employee resource groups and fitness partner Peerfit have you covered.
  • Cover your medical insurance. We have multiple plans to pick from to ensure you’ll have the coverage you (and your dependents) want, including vision, dental, fertility healthcare and family forming benefits.
  • Contribute to your 401(K). Yep, that’s free money. We’ll match up to 4% of your own contribution.
