Summary

Huddle Up is hiring hybrid Speech Language Pathologists to deliver innovative speech services to K-12 students in Rockville, Maryland for the 2024-2025 school year. This role blends in-person therapy with remote administrative work using proprietary technology-enabled platforms.

Key Responsibilities: Provide in-person and remote therapy services to K-12 students, collaborate with educators and clinical mentors, and maintain documentation including SOAP notes, evaluation reports, and progress reports. Participate in IEP meetings, serve as case manager, and complete medicaid billing as necessary.
Skills & Tools: Active, unrestricted SLP license and current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency required. Experience with school-based therapy, pediatric populations, and proficiency with various technology platforms essential.
Qualifications: Minimum 20 hours per week commitment, active state SLP license with CCCs, and school-based or pediatric therapy experience required. Must be a full-time US resident with reliable transportation.

Currently hiring for part-time and full-time, Hybrid, Onsite Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Rockville, Maryland for the 24/25 school year!

The on-target earnings for this role are $42-$55 an hour, as a W2 employee. Exact compensation will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s skills, geographical location, and other qualifications.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Able to commit to 20 hours per week 
  • Hold an active, unrestricted, and valid SLP license in your state of residence
  • Hold CCCs: Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency
  • Full-time resident of the United States
  • Due to the nature of this role, consistent and reliable transportation is essential to ensure punctual and dependable attendance
  • Experience conducting therapy in a school setting, or with the pediatric population
  • Experience and comfortability with the use of various types of technology
  • Follow Huddle Up documentation guidelines for evaluation reports and daily SOAP notes
  • Participate in IEP and team meetings, serve as a case manager or process coordinator
  • Prepare progress reports as requested by the school and complete medicaid billing if necessary
