Summary

Director, Learning Engagement

About the Role:

The Director of Learning Engagement will lead a suite of learning services across Acelero, Inc. These services include facilitation, coaching, learning consultations, peer learning, and support for learning transfer. As a senior member of the Professional Learning team, you will collaborate with the VP of Professional Learning and Director of Learning Design to bring learning to life through innovative, inclusive, and engaging practices.

What You’ll Do:

Training, Facilitation & Implementation Support

  • Oversee learning consultations and technical assistance across teams to support facilitation, content quality, learning transfer, and impact.
  • Coordinate and support delivery of instructor-led training for company-wide initiatives, such as leadership development and onboarding.
  • Contribute to national conference presentations, internal and external training events, and internal certification programs.
  • Consult with business units to assess learning needs, co-determine equitable levels of support, and deliver scalable learning solutions.
  • Facilitate professional development sessions and learning engagement offerings (as needed/able).

Coaching & Learning Transfer

  • Support implementation of coaching, peer learning, and evidence-based learning models that improve transfer and practice over time.
  • Align learning strategies with adult learning principles and Acelero’s “Training for Action” model.

Team Leadership & Project Management

  • Supervise, develop, and empower a high-performing, diverse team of learning professionals.
  • Manage timelines, track key milestones, and ensure team accountability across deliverables.
  • Lead with clarity, collaboration, and compassion to promote growth across the Professional Learning team.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Certification or coursework in instructional design, adult learning, or related fields preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience designing, facilitating, and implementing learning solutions in a multi-site, education-focused, or mission-driven organization.
  • 2+ years of experience supervising, onboarding, or coaching staff.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and team leadership skills.
  • Passion for equity, continuous learning, and inclusive practice.
  • Comfort navigating organizational complexity and aligning input across diverse stakeholders.
  • Tech literacy with Google Suite and virtual collaboration tools.
