Summary

PMO Lead responsible for creating and implementing PMO policies, processes, and frameworks to enhance organizational decision-making and operational efficiency. This role drives cross-functional collaboration on corporate operating systems, merger-acquisition playbooks, and large-scale change management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute PMO strategy, policies, and processes across the organization while collaborating with multiple departments to establish decision-making frameworks and operational standards. Lead large-scale projects, monitor key performance indicators, and ensure effective communication between stakeholders during organizational change initiatives.
Skills & Tools: Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management with exceptional attention to detail and ability to communicate complex processes clearly. Experience with project management methodologies, process improvement, active listening, and strategic thinking about future-state organizational needs.
Qualifications: Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting businesses through PMO strategy, planning, and execution with a demonstrated track record of leading large projects. PMP certification is preferred; experience in process improvement and change management is valued.
Location: Omaha or Lincoln, Nebraska, United States (hybrid—minimum 3 days per week in office; must be within commuting distance)
Compensation: Estimated: $95,000 – $130,000/year based on PMO Lead seniority, Hudl's market position, and Omaha/Lincoln cost of living

Job Description

Your Role

We’re looking for a Project Management Office (PMO) Lead to own the creation and implementation of PMO policies and processes. The main responsibility for this role will be collaborating with other departments to develop programs that level up our internal processes for decision-making frameworks, corporate operating systems and merger-acquisition playbooks.

This role requires at least three days in the office per week, so we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our offices in Lincoln or Omaha, Nebraska.


Must-Haves

  • Experience. You’ve supported businesses through PMO strategy, planning and execution before.
  • Cross-functional leadership. You’re a natural at ensuring effective communication between stakeholders from different teams, while keeping an eye on key performance indicators. You’re comfortable leading large projects.
  • Attention to detail. You understand how even the small things matter in large-scale change management, especially when it comes to the downstream effects.

Nice-to-Haves

  • PMP certification. You’re a project management professional that has demonstrated your ability to manage people, process and business priorities.
  • Active listening. You truly hear and understand the needs of others, and use what you’ve heard to drive change.
  • Track record of improving processes. You’re always thinking "what got us here won't get us there." You can see where the business is going and want to help us build towards the ideal future.
