Summary

BA Intern at Nelnet is a Summer 2025 IT internship offering real-world experience in business systems analysis within a remote setting. The intern will define system scope, analyze business needs, and implement changes that support educational finance and K-12 school systems.

Key Responsibilities: Define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding, review and analyze business systems and user needs, and execute changes to respond to business requirements. Work with both technical staff and clients in an agile development environment.
Skills & Tools: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with strong analytical and consensus-building abilities. Comfort in technical environments, understanding of agile development principles, and passion for innovation with ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field. Understanding of on-time and within-budget project principles with ability to see feedback as an opportunity for growth.
Location: Remote from Nebraska, United States of America
Compensation: $15.00 – $25.00/hour

The IT Business Analyst Intern formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. They’ll review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, while executing changes needed to respond to requirements.
