Key Responsibilities: Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close, conduct product presentations via phone and virtual meetings, provide accurate sales forecasts, and exceed assigned quotas while leveraging Salesforce.com as a strategic sales tool.
Skills & Tools: Strong verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, competitive, self-motivated, and proven ability to close deals and exceed sales goals with experience managing multiple sales involving different buying personas.
Qualifications: 3-5 years of sales experience with a minimum of 1 year as a high-achieving sales representative who consistently exceeds quotas and closes deals; Salesforce.com experience is strongly preferred.

Position Overview: 

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) position optimizes inbound/outbound telephone, virtual meetings/presentations, and e-mail contact to sell our ever-growing technology solutions. Each ISR is accountable for individual monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas, strategically targeting both recurring and one-time revenue goals set by Follett Software. Responsibilities:

The Job: 

Win new business and sell additional solutions into existing clients in your designated, established territory. 

  • Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to close.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts (weekly/monthly/quarterly) to managers
  • Leverage company CRM (Salesforce.com) as a resource and strategic sales tool

Prospect daily to generate your own opportunities and build a pipeline including but not limited to: 

  • Provide product and service presentations/demonstrations via Phone & virtual meetings and presentations.
  • Uncover and qualify new opportunities by probing for needs, understanding requirements and interpreting technical requirements of the customer or prospect.
  • Actively identify cross-selling, up-selling, and lead generation opportunities. 
  • Develop an engaging, effective and flexible territory plan and strategy within assigned responsibility.
  • Meet daily activity goals set by FSS technology sales management 
  • Exceed your assigned quota

Qualifications:

Desired Skill Set: 

  • Competitive, self-motivated, and driven.
  • A high-activity salesperson that understands the direct connection between activity and success.
  • A history of sales achievement and exceeding quota. Experienced at closing deals.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills. Ability to command a conversation a must.
  • Detail oriented and able to manage numerous sales at once involving multiple buying personas.
  • Excited about a career in sales. Has decided sales is your chosen profession.
  • Naturally upbeat and optimistic.

  • Minimum of 1 year as a high achieving sales representative who consistently exceeds sales goals. Experienced in closing sales deals.
