Summary

Director, Marketing Operations at WorldStrides will build and lead the infrastructure, data, and analytics powering the company's modern marketing engine. Requires expertise in marketing automation, CRM systems, data governance, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications: Typically requires 7+ years of marketing operations, revenue operations, or related experience, with demonstrated success building and optimizing marketing technology stacks. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, data science, or related field preferred, along with proven leadership experience managing teams.

Job Description:

WorldStrides is seeking a Director, Marketing Operations to build and lead the infrastructure, data & analytics powering our modern marketing engine.

This role sits at the intersection of marketing, data, and revenue operations, responsible for the strategy, governance, and optimization of the marketing technology stack. The Director will ensure our systems, data, and processes enable scalable lead generation, lifecycle marketing, and measurable revenue impact.

The ideal candidate combines technical fluency, operational rigor, and strategic thinking to turn marketing systems into a competitive advantage.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Technology Strategy

  • Own the vision, architecture, and roadmap for the marketing technology ecosystem.
  • Evaluate and optimize the current Martech stack to ensure tools support growth and scalability.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, and IT to ensure systems integration and operational alignment.

Marketing Operations & Automation

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of marketing automation, lead management, and campaign infrastructure.
  • Build scalable workflows that support demand generation, nurturing, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Develop frameworks for campaign measurement, attribution, and pipeline reporting.

Data Governance & Quality

  • Partner with Data to establish data governance standards across marketing systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy, cleanliness, and consistency across CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.
  • Implement processes for lead scoring, segmentation, and enrichment in the CRM

Revenue & Funnel Analytics

  • Build dashboards that provide end-to-end visibility into the marketing funnel.
  • Partner with Sales and Finance to define shared definitions for MQLs, SQLs, pipeline attribution, and revenue reporting.
  • Identify performance insights and optimization opportunities across channels.

Systems Integration

  • Oversee integrations between marketing tools and core systems including CRM, analytics platforms, and web properties.
  • Work with engineering and IT to ensure data flows reliably between platforms.
  • Familiarity and knowledge of Hubspot, Sitecore , MSFT Dynamics, and Salesforce
  • Ability to create Dashboards using Power BI

Governance & Process

  • Define best practices for campaign execution, tracking, and reporting.
  • Create documentation and operational playbooks for marketing teams.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and data management policies.

Core Systems Ownership

Examples may include:

  • CRM platforms (MSFT Dynamics/SFDC)
  • Marketing automation platforms (Hubspot Certification Preferred)
  • Analytics and reporting tools (Power BI, etc)
  • Attribution and lead management tools (Hubspot)
  • Website and form integrations (Sitecore)
  • Data enrichment platforms (List Integrations)
  • Integration with Salesforce
  • ABM Software (Eg Demandbase, Terminus, 6 Sense)

Qualifications:

Required

  • 8+ years experience in Marketing Operations, Martech, or Revenue Operations
  • Deep expertise with CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • Experience building marketing infrastructure for complex B2B or multi-brand organizations
  • Strong understanding of lead management, attribution modeling, and pipeline reporting
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects with marketing, sales, and engineering teams

Preferred

  • Experience with enterprise Martech ecosystems
  • Knowledge of data architecture and integrations
  • Familiarity with privacy and data governance frameworks
