Summary

Drive new business growth for FeedbackFruits' EdTech solutions by identifying and closing deals with higher education institutions. This Account Executive role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the education technology space while building long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities: Prospect and acquire new higher education clients through cold outreach, conferences, and referrals while delivering product demos and managing the full sales cycle. Partner with BDRs, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to run lead-generation campaigns, negotiate contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Skills & Tools: Strong consultative sales and negotiation abilities with expertise in simplifying complex ideas and closing strategic deals. CRM proficiency, self-motivation, adaptability, and a growth mindset with demonstrated ability to self-generate pipeline opportunities.
Qualifications: 5+ years of B2B/B2G SaaS sales experience with proven track record of meeting targets, plus 2+ years of EdTech or higher education sales experience. Demonstrated success managing deals with ACVs of $50K+, including 6-figure deal closures.
Location: Remote - US Remote
Compensation: $110K–$150K/yr

As a rapidly growing scale-up, we’re looking for a passionate and results-driven Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team in a quickly expanding Central US market. What you’ll do

  • Drive new business by identifying and prospecting higher education institutions through cold outreach, conferences, networking, and referrals.

  • Partner with BDRs and Marketing to create and run targeted lead-generation campaigns.

  • Deliver compelling product demos and presentations to showcase the value of our SaaS solutions.

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, acting as their primary point of contact.

  • Run a consultative purchasing process with customers, ensuring customer success and satisfaction.

  • Manage and track sales activities in the CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting.

  • Ensure deals move efficiently through the sales funnel with proper qualification along the way.

  • Lead contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring deals align with both customer needs and company goals.

  • Work with sales leadership to craft competitive packaging and pricing strategies.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to drive company-wide success.

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of B2B or B2G SaaS sales experience, with a record of meeting targets

  • 2+ years of EdTech and/or Education experience, working within higher education, K12 education, corporate L&D, and/or workforce training

  • Experience with average contract values (ACV) of 50K+, with additional examples of 6-figure deals under your belt

  • Ability to self-generate pipeline – experience sourcing 40-50% (or more) of top of funnel opportunities, with the rest coming from BDRs and Marketing

  • Strong communication & negotiation skills – you can simplify complex ideas and close strategic deals effectively.

  • Self-motivated & adaptable – you thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Growth mindset – ability to receive/give feedback and evolve as a salesperson

  • CRM proficiency – experience managing sales pipelines and tracking performance.

The salary range for this position is $110.000 - $150.000 with OTE per year, depending on experience, location, and other job-related factors.

Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. The final compensation package will be determined through the interview process.
