Summary

Center Director in Training role at C2 Education prepares candidates for leadership by mastering center operations, management, sales, and educational services delivery. This position develops future directors through hands-on training with experienced leaders while ensuring student success and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Shadow experienced Center Directors to learn operations, sales, marketing, and financial management while implementing curriculum and teaching methodologies. Manage staff scheduling and training, participate in sales and community outreach, maintain student-family relationships, and contribute to achieving performance and business targets.
Skills & Tools: Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills required. Ability to create a nurturing learning environment and demonstrate a proactive, adaptable approach to challenges.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher required; passion for education and experience working with children preferred. First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
Location: Hybrid in Fulton, Maryland, United States (Maple Lawn - Fulton, MD 20759); up to 25% travel to multiple centers required.
Compensation: $55,000 – $56,000/year

Job Purpose:

To prepare for the role of Center Director by learning and mastering all aspects of center operations, management, and educational leadership within a C2 Education learning center. This involves developing proficiency in sales, marketing, student and family relations, teacher management, and curriculum implementation, ultimately ensuring the center's success in providing high-quality educational services and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shadow and train with experienced Center Directors to gain a comprehensive understanding of center operations, including sales processes, marketing strategies, and financial management.
  • Learn and implement C2 Education's curriculum, teaching methodologies, and student assessment procedures.
  • Develop strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, teachers, and other staff members.
  • Participate in sales and marketing activities, including lead generation, community outreach, and enrollment consultations.
  • Assist with the management of the center staff, including scheduling, training, and performance feedback.
  • Learn and adhere to C2 Education's policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the center by achieving student performance goals and meeting business targets.
  • Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in education and management.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective families and community partners.
  • Manage student schedules and track their progress, providing regular updates to parents.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as record keeping, data entry, and inventory management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families and the local community.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
  • Take initiative and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Schedule: 

  • Sessions are conducted after school hours to accommodate students and are typically Monday – Thursday 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Each location may vary.
