Summary

The PD Edtech-Assessment Data Consultant is a per diem position dedicated to improving student outcomes through professional development and data best practices, delivering training on Benchmark Education's digital curriculum to teachers and administrators nationally.

Key Responsibilities: Train educators on Benchmark digital curriculum and assessment processes, deliver onsite and virtual presentations, support technology integration in classrooms through coaching, and provide internal reporting on training effectiveness.
Skills & Tools: Excellent presentation and communication abilities, strong knowledge of educational technology, coaching experience, and ability to conduct independent research and synthesize information from multiple sources.
Qualifications: Experience in educational settings, familiarity with Benchmark products or similar edtech platforms, and demonstrated ability to work independently and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Location: Remote - United States; up to 80% travel required for onsite trainings
Compensation: $30 – $60/hourly

Position Purpose:

The Edtech-Assessment Data Consultant- Per Diem plays a vital role in contributing to improved outcomes for students in school districts regionally and nationally, through instructional and assessment data best practices. He/she is actively involved and responsible for demonstrating professional credibility by providing the necessary consultation and training for Benchmark programs and related professional learning topics. 

Key Responsibilities:

The Edtech-Assessment Data Consultant- Per Diem is a Benchmark product and professional development specialist providing onsite and remote implementation/service as determined by the Regional Schedulers and Senior Director of Professional Development. The Edtech-Assessment Data Consultant- Per Diem is responsible for providing consultation and training to administrators, coaches, teachers and other district staff based on the training material that has been provided to him/her.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Train administrators, coaches, teachers and other district staff on the implementation of Benchmark Education Company digital curriculum, assessment process and suite of student performance data reports
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all digital products and pedagogy underlying product design
  • Adjust presentation resources and pacing plans per training logistics and as specified by Professional Development leadership
  • Provide highly effective onsite and virtual presentations and webinars of Benchmark digital and assessment products to external & internal customers
  • If applicable, support individuals and small groups of teachers through coaching/modeling of effective technology-integrated lessons in classroom settings
  • Learn independently, conduct research, synthesize and apply information from a variety of resources
  • Traveling up to 80% of the time including overnight stays
  • Build strong relationships with team members and customers
  • Provide internal reporting on each training in a timely manner
  • Communicate internally and externally to influence customer and market needs
