Summary
Policy Analyst role at Britebound, a national nonprofit focused on career readiness for students, where you'll research and develop evidence-based policy recommendations to advance education-to-career pathways. You'll analyze legislation and trends while supporting advocacy efforts to influence policy related to career experimentation and work-based learning.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze and monitor legislation, regulations, and policy trends impacting career readiness and work-based learning; develop policy recommendations, briefs, white papers, and presentations for leadership and external audiences. Communicate complex policy issues to stakeholders including government officials and community groups, and support advocacy efforts through testimony and coalition building.
Skills & Tools: Strong research and analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information both verbally and in writing; knowledge of education and labor policy systems, policy analysis frameworks, and methodologies. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and develop actionable insights.
Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in education or labor policy analysis, research, or related field. Knowledge of policy areas and education systems that Britebound seeks to influence.
Location: Hybrid in Boston, Massachusetts, United States (2 days per week in office)
Compensation: $77,000 โ $100,000 / annually
