Summary
Join Acelero Learning Delaware as a Bus Driver to safely transport children in early childhood education while fostering positive relationships with families and staff. This role is essential to ensuring children start and end their day with confidence and care.
Key Responsibilities: Safely operate a school bus and transport children ages 0–5, conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, secure passengers in child safety restraints, maintain daily logs, communicate route issues promptly, and build positive relationships with families and staff.
Skills & Tools: Valid CDL with P and S endorsements, clean driving record, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, strong communication skills, and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Bilingual Spanish-English skills are a plus.
Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience operating a school bus, calm demeanor under pressure, ability to pass DOT physical, background check, and drug/alcohol screening.
Location: Hybrid in Bridgeville, Delaware, United States of America
Compensation: $30,000 – $45,000/year
