Senior Software Engineer (Bridge) role at Learning Technologies Group, responsible for developing and maintaining world-class software solutions for teaching, learning, and career management. This position focuses on backend development using Java/Kotlin and Spring, contributing to a global team across Hungary, the US, and other countries.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain, develop, and support mature applications and codebases using Java/Kotlin+Spring and Ruby backends. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and program managers using lean product development practices to make decisions, iterate, and learn.

Skills & Tools: At least 5 years of backend development experience (full-stack experience is a plus), with proficiency in Java/Kotlin, Spring, and React/Typescript. Strong ownership mentality, ability to solve challenging problems independently, self-motivation to learn and share knowledge, and experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Spinnaker), and monitoring tools (DataDog, Opentelemetry).

Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of professional backend development experience required. Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work in empowered environments, and contribute to team growth through knowledge sharing.

Compensation: Ft1.7M–Ft2.1M/mo
